Join us for a night of acoustic singing and strumming with three of Nashville's most revered songwriters at Spencer Theater tonight, July 14 at 8 p.m. Excellent seats available for $39-$50.

Spotlights will shine on Grammy award winner Linda Davis (Best Country Vocal Duet for "Does He Love You" with Reba McEntire), an admired song stylist who's called "one of the best singers in the business" by Kenny Rogers. Linda is joined by her fellow hit songwriting friends - Lang Scott, the first National Champion of TNN's "You Can Be A Star" (who's entertained audiences at late night shows like Jay Leno and David Lettermen) -- and Bill Whyte, much loved for his humorous lyrical-play, who, when not singing or writing, is an award-winning Cincinatti & Nashville morning radio personality.

Individually, these artists have toured with superstars like George Strait, Garth Brooks, Kenny Rogers, Reba McEntire, the Statler Brothers and LeeAnn Rimes. At the Spencer, they'll give us plenty of foot-tapping, heart-breaking and hilarious Country as well as a whole lot of laughter and tales from the backside of song creation.

This night of night of great country, Nashville Bluebird Café style, is sponsored in-part by Destiny Real Estate. Tickets start at just $39 and excellent seats are available! Call the Spencer Box Office at (575) 336-4800 or go online to www.spencertheater.com for tickets. A pre-show glazed turkey buffet is also available in the lobby at 6 p.m. The Spencer Theater is at 108 Spencer Road, Airport Highway 220, Alto, NM. Business hours are 9 a.m-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. For tickets or information call (575) 336-4800 or toll free at 888.818.7872 or go online.

Spencer Theater is a world-class performance hall located in the Sacramento Mountain settlement of Alto, about 12 miles north of downtown Ruidoso. Unique architecture, outstanding acoustics, intimate seating, and excellent artistry are the Spencer's celebrated features. The elegant, award-winning hall, which first raised its curtains in 1997, seats 514, with no seats farther than 67 feet from the 4,770 square-foot stage. The Spencer also has a 964 square-foot outdoor stage that can seat 1,500. From its Spanish mica-flecked limestone face to the crystal lobby, the building itself is a work of art. Free public tours are offered at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the year. Donations are accepted!
