"Million Dollar Quartet" Chicago theatre star Lance Lipinsky, a 28-year-old Texas native, carries on the tradition of Jerry Lee Lewis, Ray Charles and Fats Domino in a crusade that is the "retro revival." The head-turning music star shares explosive stage energy with his rockabilly band The Lovers, a Chicago-based quintet with John Perrin on drums, Zach Lentino on bass, Wyatt Maxwell on guitar, and Jess Lyons and Darcy Jo Wood with backup vocals.

Lance is a modern day rockabilly maestro. He combines several influences of early Rock & Roll, classic Honky Tonk, Country, Chicago Rhythm & Blues and 1960's pop in original roots music that's like a living sequel of a past era.

"Our sound is unique and we are very proud of that," says Lance. "I would say we are 40% Country and 60% Rock n Roll.... The direction we are taking is Dwight Yoakum meets Jerry Lee Lewis. Dwight has a country classic groove and Jerry Lee is powerful on the piano. We have a juke joint swing with a rockin' edge to it. I would not hesitate to classify it as Country Rock."

Lance made his television debut at the Grand Ole Opry in 2009. Between his many concert gigs, he has starred in 1,700 performances of the Chicago production of the hit Tony winning musical "Million Dollar Quartet" since 2010. The amazing young talent has also had the honor of meeting his hero Jerry Lee Lewis, who gave Lance his blessing to incorporate his spirit into his own explosive musical persona.
