Get unstuck in time this November. Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse-Five explores the human condition by reliving its most beautiful and heartbreaking moments. Experience the story of Billy Pilgrim, the man who becomes "unstuck" in time, in the stage adaptation of Vonnegut's celebrated novel. As Pilgrim jumps uncontrollably between moments in his life, he bears witness to the true love, horror, war, and peace of recent and future generations. Witness Pilgrim's remarkable journey through time and space, love and hate, and everything that lies between - during his life as a young boy, as a soldier in World War II, and even as part of an exhibit inside an interstellar zoo.

KURT VONNEGUT is one of the most beloved authors of the 20th Century. His novels and short stories are revered for their satirical blend of humour and tragedy. Vonnegut was awarded a Hugo Award for his anti-war novel Slaughterhouse-Five (or The Children's Crusade). On stage, the book's encapsulating phrase "so it goes," combines with the Canadian sentiment of "lest we forget," to give audiences a fresh and engaging way to celebrate Remembrance Day 2014.

ERIC SIMONSON's adaptation of SLAUGHTERHOUSE-FIVE skillfully captures the devastation and the wonder expressed in Vonnegut's novel, offering an immersive and absorbing experience. For this Vancouver Premiere, director MATT CLARKE and an ensemble cast find the emptiness of war and the starkness of space, while expressing the humour and heart of Vonnegut's work.

LITTLE MOUNTAIN LION PRODUCTIONS is a not-for-profit theatre company that produces plays that overlap with literature and film, inviting book and movie enthusiasts into local theatres to experience the thrill of a live performance.

Come get unstuck in time and join Billy Pilgrim on a journey where time runs every direction. Kurt Vonnegut's SLAUGHTERHOUSE-FIVE offers Vancouver theatre-goers not only a great way to experience an enduring and unique piece of literature, but also to remember the past and reflect on the future.
