City Theatre Fall Classes Begin in September

St. Petersburg City Theatre Academy has announced their schedule of classes for Fall 2014. They have plenty going on during the academic school year, so sign your child up today for one of the Fall Session programs. Each of these programs offers performance opportunities, and many culminate in a fully staged production on our mainstage, with costumes, sound, lights, and more.

They have expanded the ages and are now offering theatre arts education for AGES 4 - 18.

Junior Theatre - Ages 8 - 14
Classes begin SEPTEMBER 8, 2014 culminating in a mainstage peformance of DOROTHY IN WONDERLAND on Saturday, October 25.

This is an after-school program designed for youth Ages 8 - 14.

Tuition: $50 per session (sessions are 6 weeks long)

Class times: 3:30pm - 6pm on Mon, Tues, and Thursday afternoons

Pizazz Song & Dance Troupe - Ages 7 - 17

Peewee Pizazz - Ages 4 - 6 *NEW THIS YEAR!!!*
Classes begin SEPTEMBER 6, 2014

This program runs year-round. Weekly classes in voice, acting and dance result is Broadway showstopper production numbers. These young performers perform all over Tampa Bay as part of our outreach program.

Tuition: $120 per month. Sibling discount is available
Peewee Pizazz - $40 per month.

Class Times: 1pm - 6pm on Saturdays;
Peewee Pizazz 1pm-2pm on Saturdays

Teen Musical Theatre - City Theatre Ratz - Ages 13-17
Classes begin on September 12, 2014 culminating in a mainstage performance of GREASE THE MUSICAL on Saturday, November 22.

Designed for ages 13-17, this NEW program will immerse young actors in the art of musical theatre.

Tuition: $300. There is a $50 non-refundable deposit.

Class Times: 4:30pm-6:30pm on Friday evenings.

Children's Theatre Workshop - Ages 7-14
Classes begin on September 13, 2014 culminating in a mainstage performance of BYE BYE BIRDIE
Designed for ages 7 - 14, this program will introduce young actors to musical theatre. Classes will include acting, singing, and dance.

Tuition: $300. There is a $50 non-refundable deposit.

Class Times: 11am - 1pm on Saturdays.

Improv - The Whacky Actors - Ages 12 - 17
Classes begin SEPTEMBER 6, 2014

Training young actors, ages 12-17, in the art of IMPROV, while working with a script. This is part of our community outreach program, and there will be several performance opportunities throughout the community.

Tuition: $200

Class times: 4pm - 6pm on Saturdays.
