BOWZER'S ROCK 'N' ROLL HOLIDAY PARTY Hits the Stage at the Van Wezel Tonight

Bowzer's Rock 'N' Roll Holiday Party is a warm and festive celebration of the holiday season featuring some great classic rock by the legendary performers will appear at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall tonight, December 16.

Hosted by BOWZER, formerly the star of SHA NA NA and their hit TV series, the show features HERMAN'S HERMITS starring PETER NOONE, the entertainer extraordinaire whose dozens of Top 40 hits were second only to the Beatles on the 60's pop charts.

"Henry the Eighth" and "Mrs. Brown, You've Got A Lovely Daughter" are classic, upbeat fun, but the show will also feature melodic HERMITS hits like "Kind of a Hush" and "Listen, People." GARY PUCKETT & THE UNION GAP will reprise their string of classic hits of the 60's, including "Young Girl," "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon" and "Lady Will Power," and PUCKETT's powerful tenor will also resound on some classic Christmas hits from his holiday album.

JOEY DEE and his "Peppermint Twist" will kick off the evening on a lively note, and BOWZER's group BOWZER & THE STINGRAYS will bring the house down with some authentic gospel sounds of the season as well as a show-stopping version of The Drifters' Doo-Wop "White Christmas." BOWZER'S astounding classical piano routine rounds out a holiday evening you will always remember.
