THREE, a performance group presents, Cassandra created by Jenny Hoffman, Yolanda Knight, and Matthew McVey-Lee. This two-woman show follows the mythical Cassandra, the Trojan princess and prophet who saw the destruction of Troy but could not stop it. With text combining the depictions of poets, musicians, and playwrights from Ancient Greece until today to tell Cassandra's whole story.

Cassandra's ill-fated love affair with Apollo plunges her into a world of always knowing what is around the corner but never being able to affect the change that will save those she loves. Her prophecies torment her as the Trojan War rips apart her home and family. She is always plagued with the hope that she can convince someone that she knows what is to come.

Jenny, Yolanda, and Matthew have created a play that weaves together many styles of theatre, from Greek tragedy to contemporary poetry, from pop to opera, to create the incredible story of Cassandra. This new work explores the romance, tragedy, desire, and loss of one of the most extraordinary woman of myth.
